The restaurant  will offer a special Valentine’s Day menu with delicious treats like oysters & pearls, beef tartare and seared scallops. There will be a choice of entrees including prime rib & grilled lobster and miso glazed cedar plank salmon. The cost is $160++ per person and includes a family-style snack, an appetizer, an entree and a family style dessert.

Another option for a romantic dinner is 20|Twenty at the Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa where you and your loved one can enjoy a special three-course meal. The menu features dishes like yellowtail crudo and surf and turf filet. The meal ends with a honey lavender panna cotta for two, with a wine pairing option available. The cost is $220 per couple or $260 with wine pairing.

If you’re looking for a more casual option, Vigilucci’s Seafood and Steakhouse and Vigilucci’s Cucina Italiana both offer Valentine’s Day lunch and dinner options, making it the perfect spot for a romantic date or a gathering with friends.

The Crossings at Carlsbad will be hosting a three-course dinner for the chance to indulge in a delicious meal while enjoying a romantic ambiance. There will be live music and appetizing dishes like Steak Oscar and a succulent Dover Sole with stuffed Langoustine. The cost is $79 per person and includes a three course dinner.

Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach, a Hilton Resort & Spa, will be serving up a Valentine’s Day three-course dinner menu at their oceanfront restaurant Chandler’s, available from Friday, February 10 to Monday, February 13. Additionally, a four-course dinner menu will be available the night of February 14. Make a reservation at Chandler’s over the “Week of Romance” happening Friday, February 10 to Tuesday, February 14 or schedule an appointment for any Couples Spa Treatment at Cape Rey’s Ocean Crest Spa. Carlsbad also offers many ways to spoil your loved one! The Spa at La Costa will make sure you’re taken care of. They are offering a range of Valentine’s Day packages for couples or individuals. From the Roses & Rosé package to the La Costa Couples Experience, all packages include a relaxing spa service and additional perks like champagne, private patios, hot tubs and sweet treats. The Spa is also launching new services in February, including the Rose Quartz Hydrating Facial. 

If you’re looking for a getaway, the Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort is running a deal for an escape that won’t break the bank. Stay any night between Friday, February 10 and Thursday, February 16 and receive $40 off per night. For those interested in doing something more hands-on, Handled Pottery Studio in Carlsbad Village is delivering a Valentine’s Day workshop where you and your significant other or friends can learn about pottery and create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind piece of pottery together. The workshop includes a full hour and a half of instruction, use of tools, firing of two pieces and clear coating of the wares with glaze. The finished pieces will be food safe and can be picked up in two weeks. The workshop is open to ages 18+ and the fee is $140.00. Participants are required to pre-register and are welcome to bring their own beverages (21+ only, no glass allowed). All materials will be provided, but participants should plan to wear clothes and sneakers that can get dirty.
